Inspired by the racetrack, QS technology is capable of bringing performance to these challenges: proven power performance means racks can keep up, better energy density means longer runtime with a smaller footprint, and the safer solid-state design means less risk at scale.

Applications such as aerospace, defense and consumer electronics need batteries that go further than today’s lithium-ion technology: energy density limits how far electric aircraft can fly, fire risk leaves no margin for error, and dependence on graphite sourced almost exclusively from China raises real supply chain concerns. QS technology is designed to provide compelling value in these applications: our anode-free lithium-metal design means more energy and power, our nonflammable and noncombustible ceramic separator means better safety, and eliminating graphite anode material means a more secure supply chain.
